This resin kit consists of 6 sturdily cast blades, the main disc body with sockets for said blades, and two small decorative discs for the handle. Included is a generic but helpful 'resin/vinyl kit' bundle of notes, plus a very high quality print of a fully painted - and well-painted - Shuriken as a guide.
With resin kits one generally takes a chance on craftsmanship. Unlike many kits, *this* one requires a minimum of work before you can proceed to the paint stage. There is very little flash or excess to trim, the pieces are sensibly fashioned pointing to a straightforward assembly, and the surfaces are clean. An absolute pleasure to behold compared to many other lesser kits.
The Shuriken comes in a deceptively small package, but it is indeed 1:1 scale, and a very accurate replica of the AVP movie weapon. Excellent work, excellent value. The way a resin kit should be done.
